Clarence J Lewber

LEWBER, Clarence J., age 71 of Tipp City, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at the Spring Creek Nursing Center. He was born February 26, 1939 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Edward & Florence (Rappold) Lewber. Clarence was a Manager with Speedway, was a member and served as Past Worthy President of the Eagles #2201, was a member of VFW Post #4615, was an avid race fan and member of VARC. Clarence is survived by his wife of 49 years, Willadene (Null); 2 sons, Edward Lewber (Marian) of Wilmington and Joseph Lewber (Lisa) of Vandalia; 1 daughter, Ginger Walter& close friend, Barb Stewart of Medway; 1 brother, John Lewber (Pat) of Dayton; 3 grandchildren, Holly, Caleb & Stephanie; 2 great-grandchildren, Abby & Skyler and his beloved dog & good buddy, Freckles. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 4 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Royal Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm with Eagle Lodge service to be held at 8 pm.
