Clifton E. Sorrell

SORRELL, Clifton E., age 75 of Vandalia, passed away October 30, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born November 20, 1937 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Benjamin & Evelyn (Davenport) Sorrell. Clifton was a retired Pharmacist at Grandview Hospital and was an avid outdoorsman. Preceded in death by his wife, Nola Mae Sorrell, Clifton is survived by his son, Brenton Sorrell (Janet), daughters, Deanna Boyd (Tim), Nicole Rodriguez (Jerry) & Leslie Call; his former wife, Linda Call (Sorrell), 10 grandchildren, Ben, Ryan, Zacharie, Jon, Emily, Taylor, Leslyn, Julian, Nicholas and Carter and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 3, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until time of service. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, November 4 at Polk Grove Cemetery, 9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton.
