Clyde C. "Curt" Seagraves

SEAGRAVES, Clyde Curtis “Curt” Age 77 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton. He was born July 12, 1938 in Kayford, West Virginia to the late Dude and Pearl Seagraves. In addition to his parents, Curt was preceded in death by his daughter, Leigh Ann Seagraves (52) in 2013. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sue (Trail) of Vandalia; siblings, Bill, Nancy and John, his children, sons, Curt and wife, Nennia Seagraves of Vandalia, Mike and wife, Kim Seagraves of South Charleston, WV, and daughter, Tammy and husband, Jim Barger of Vandalia. Curt was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Vandalia, 140 Elva Ct., on Friday evening, December 4 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 5 at First Baptist Church with Pastor David Starry officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Preschool Ministries, 140 Elva Ct., Vandalia, OH 45377 in Curt's memory. Curt and Sue served in the preschool ministry for 30 years and Curt’s heart will always be with the children.
