Conley Franklin Beeler
Age 90, of Vandalia, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022, at Cypress Pointe in Englewood. Conley was born May 9, 1932 in LaFollette, TN to the late Joe & Pearl (McCarty) Beeler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Imogene (Stanford) Beeler; one daughter, Patricia Ann (Beeler) Sowders; and by six siblings, Lois Beeler Taylor, Imogene Beeler Overbey, Joyce Beeler Riggs, Judy Beeler Sharp, Obadee Beeler & Wonnie Beeler.
Conley retired from the City of Dayton – Street Maintenance Department – in 1995 with 37 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He is survived by one son,
Conley Michael Beeler & his wife, Rose; five grandchildren, Andrea (Jason) Zimmer, Michael (JoAnna) Sowders, Stephen (Amanda) Sowders, Brandon Beeler & Zachary Beeler; nine great grandchildren, Autumn, Carly, Carter, Mila, Easton, Lani, Samantha, Daniel & Knox; three siblings, Ronnie (Bo) Beeler, Bruce Beeler & Betty Beeler Carroll; and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, Monday, November 28, at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Rd, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at Noon with Pastor Rick Washburn officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Conley to the American Heart Association.
