Cynthia L. Hutchison

Age 57, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Kettering Medical Center. Cynthia was born June 8, 1963 in Dayton to the late Lee Houston & Lela (McCann) Cook. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her parents-in-law, who were like parents to her, Robert & Sue Hutchison.

Cynthia enjoyed working in her flower gardens and she was an “Adopted Mom” to many, including Sara Ingram.

She is survived by her loving husband of the past 35 years, Jeff Hutchison; three children, Ean Hutchison, Ami Cook and Aleshia Dotson (Rachel); three grandchildren who were the center of her life, Addy, Collin and Chloe; seven siblings, Roy Lee Cook (Frankie), Terry Cook (Cathy), Sonny Cook, Steve Cook, Mickey Cook (Tina), Tim Cook (Roz) and Sharon Meyers (Phil); and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Native American Guy Jones officiating.
