Cynthia S. Marcum

Age 76, of Vandalia, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020, at Miami Valley Hospital. Cynthia was born January 15, 1944 in Dayton to the late Paul Casey & Betty S. (Coates) Jones.

She was a 1962 graduate of Trotwood-Madison High School and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and her Master’s degree from the University of Arkansas.

She retired as a teacher with the Dayton Public School System. Cynthia is survived by two sons, Brett Marcum and Todd Marcum; their father, James A. Marcum; one grandson, Lance Marcum; sister, Jenny Cummings; and by numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
