Damon E. Vogler

VOGLER, Damon E., age 78, of Huber Heights, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 27, 1931 in Pleasant Hill, OH, son of the late Fred & Mary (Baumgardner) Vogler. Damon was a member the St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood and was a member and Treasurer of Curlie Qs Square Dance Club for 18 years. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clarence & Bob, and 3 sisters, Ruby, Leveda and Yvetta, Damon is survived by his wife of 49 years, Wilma B.; 1 son, Kelly Vogler of Tipp City; 1 daughter, Karla Lakhdar & husband, Chokri of FL; 1 sister, Karen Shaw; 4 grandchildren, Mitchell, Nour, Jelel & Soufia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Tuesday, June 8 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Damons memory.
