Daniel B Gerogosian

GEROGOSIAN, Daniel Brent, passed away unexpectedly on July 2. He was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on September 30, 1960; graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1978, the University of Toledo in 1982 and received his MBA from Webster University. He is survived by his loving wife Sandy, daughter Carly and son Noah. Dan also leaves behind his mother Barbara Gerogosian of Port Clinton, OH; brothers Gregg (Connie) of Fremont, OH; Nick (Maureen) of Strongsville, OH and Aaron of Port Clinton; sister-in-law Candace (Alex) of Littleton, CO; brother-in-law Eugene (Darlene) and sister-in-law Pollyann (Don) each of Perryopolis, PA. He had ten nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his father Robert Gerogosian Jr. Dan lived in several countries throughout his life and earned numerous accomplishments including an ROTC scholarship in college and receiving both American & Canadian Airborne Wings. Most recently Dan served as the Database Applications Chief at the National Air & Space Intelligence Center in Dayton, OH responsible for designing advanced databases, information sharing and dissemination systems. He was an original architect and served as the long time program manager for the SAVANT system which was twice recognized with the Air Force's highest team award for innovation. Of all his accomplishments, what was most important to Dan was his love and time spent with his family. Dan's humor, loyalty and love for life will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends. A Celebration of Dan's life will be held at held St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia, OH on Saturday July 5. Visitation will be held from 10am-1pm followed by a mass at 1pm. There will be a visitation on Monday, July 7 at the Neidecker LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St, Port Clinton, OH from 9-10 am followed by a service at 10 am. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project in Dan's memory.
