Daniel C. Stoner IV

STONER, Daniel C. IV, age 24, born July 7, 1986, passed away Feb 17, 2011. Daniel was a loving husband and soon to be father. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of Iraq and recently served with Arizona Army National Guard, Operation Copper Cactus. Daniel was a 2005 Graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, a Master Mason with Stump Sound Lodge, N.C. and a volunteer firefighter in North Topsail Beach, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Emily N. Stoner (Coffey); his parents, Daniel III and Jill Stoner; sisters, Shelby and Kayla; parent-in-laws, Patrick and Marcia Coffey; sister-in-laws, Erica Coffey, Erin (Coffey) and Jared Chamberlain; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniel Stoner Memorial Fund in care of any Fifth Third Bank location. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 22 at the First Baptist Church, 140 Elva Ct., Vandalia. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 4-7 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
