Danny Martin Daniels, Sr.

DANIELS, Danny Martin Sr., 73, formerly of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was born to Herbert & Chloe Daniels on March 4, 1949 in Paintsville, Kentucky. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diana Ellington. Survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Lori Daniels; son, Danny Martin Daniels, Jr.; daughter, Jennifer Daniels Goncz; sisters, Tena East (Wayne) and Nancy Clark; grandchildren, Whitney Daniels, Gabe Daniels, Lexi Goncz & Addison Goncz; great grandchildren, Logan, Landon & Liam; nephew, Tom Daniels; nieces, Michelle Cantrell and Ashley Massey; many other relatives & friends.

Danny “Walleye” Daniels retired from Heidelberg after 30 years of service.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles, and taking his grandkids out on the boat.  He loved to be surrounded by his family - Thursday family dinners at Marion’s was a recent favorite.  Danny was always offering to help others.  He literally would give you the shirt off his back.  He was the best husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, son, and friend.  Danny will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2022 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the funeral home. The burial will follow at David Cemetery in Kettering. Condolences can be shared at www.MortonWhetstoneFH.com.
