Danny R. Mace
Age 82, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023, at The Hospice of Dayton. Danny was born September 11, 1941 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to the late Eugene & Peggy (Bowles) Mace. In addition to his parents, Danny was also preceded in death by loving wife of 51 years, Barbara J. Mace; and by two siblings, Janice and Linda.
Danny was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer and once shot a hole-in-one at Community Golf Course and he enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeye’s (Go Bucks!).
Danny is survived by three children, Michelle Mace, Eric Mace & his wife, Debbie and Barry Mace & his wife, Jill; six grandchildren, Tyler T. Koch (Brittany), Jessica Price (Taylor), Kristin Johnston (Mike), Zach Mace, T.J. Mace (Kaytlyn) & Ryan Mace; two great grandchildren, Penelope Koch & Booker T. Koch; and by his extended family & many good friends.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 2:45 pm on Friday, October 6, at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery (section 22).
