Daryl M. "Hutch" Hutchison

HUTCHISON, Daryl M. "Hutch", age 74 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 17, 1940 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Lewylen & Mary (Cooley) Hutchison. Daryl was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church and was a retired employee of the Chrysler Corporation. Daryl was one of thirteen children and was preceded in death by numerous siblings. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Freeda; 3 children, Alvin Paul Vollmer, Angela Collins and Kevin Hutchison; 7 grandchildren, Alvin "P.J.", Riley, Von, Kendra, Cody, Hannah, & Megan; 2 great-grandchildren, A.J. & Aliza; 2 sisters, 3 brothers and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, October 3, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Meadowdale Baptist Church in Hutch's memory.
