David Alan Cox

Cox, David Alan, age 57 of Gallatin TN, formerly of Vandalia, Passed away Sunday Jan 6th 2013. He was born on July 30th, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. Survived by his mother Edna Cox, sister and brother-in-law Patty and Larry Green, sister, Diane Bullock; a son Taylor Cupp. Nieces Heather Fair & Kristin Green; Nephew Ryan Bullock. Great niece Olivia Fair; Aunt Louise White and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Norman Cox. Dave worked as an Executive Account Manager for Ecolab Food and Beverage, supporting the food safety programs at Global Food Manufactures for the past 22 years. Hundreds of loyal customers consider Dave a trusted advisor, confidant and friend as well as an essential part of their team. He never met a stranger, never failed to offer help to anyone in need and never ran out of jokes. His family, friends and customers share the burden of this great loss. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday January 12, 2013 at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Tim Hamilton officiating. Burial at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 until 8 pm.
