In loving memory of David Trimbach, born June 2, 1931 and peacefully passed away on January 10, 2024. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Karen, of 59 years, cherished children, Joe (Leslie), Andy (Jamie), and Amy (Ben), along with his adored grandchildren, Kara, Adam, and Jude. He was a Korean War veteran and had a dedicated career spanning over 40 years at L.C. Cassidy. David will be remembered for many things, including his green thumb in the garden, coaching baseball, grilling out, weekend football, breakfast with friends, Jim’s Donuts, and his passion for trapshooting. David’s love for coffee and conversation endeared him to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth, truly making him the sweetest man on earth. May he rest in peace forever in our hearts.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 18, at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd. Vandalia with Fr. Robert Hale celebrating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in David’s memory.
