Deidra "Dee" J. Goodall

Deidra J. Goodall, 55, of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. She was born to Elijah & Ora (Adkins) Vance on September 19, 1967 in Dayton, Ohio. Dee was a teacher at Northridge Public Schools (Dayton) for over 20 years, where she taught second graders at Morrison Elementary and taught art to students at the middle school. Dee was a devoted mother, and in addition to raising her three children, she enjoyed painting and drawing in her free time.

Dee is survived by her mother, Ora DeWitt; father, Elijah Vance; her husband of 32 years, Rob Goodall; daughters, Lauren & Hannah Goodall; son, Ian Goodall; brother & sister-in-law, Greg & Patty Vance; & niece, Maddy. Also survived by Mother-in-law, Sue Goodall; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Cindy and Tom Brown; nephew, Kyle (Paige) Koznarski and their son, George. As well as her beloved dog, Sky.

Dee was proceeded in death by her stepfather, Joe DeWitt.

A visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, with the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Pastor Bob Vincent, will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
