Delaphine G. Haines

HAINES, Delaphine (Longfellow), age 93, of Piqua, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Piqua Manor Nursing Home. She was born November 1, 1918 in Ft. Jefferson, OH (Darke County), daughter of the late Leonard & Treva Longfellow. She was a 1936 graduate of Greenville High School and retired from the Questor Juvenile Furniture Company (Evenflo) in 1980, where she was a customer service representative. She married Bill Haines Sr. April 9, 1953, and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1987. Also preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Longfellow, Delaphine is survived by her son, Bill Haines Jr. & wife, Karen of Vandalia. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 14 at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Ft. Jefferson, OH. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S.
