Denny R. Graham

GRAHAM, Denny R. age 66 of Vandalia passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Bertha, his wife of 25 years, Sue daughter Deanna Younker, brothers Willard Lee, Truman, Hobbie, and Hurstal, sisters Louise, Jean, and Pat. Denny is survived by his daughters Kristi (Brent) Qvick of Vandalia, OH, and Angie “AJ” (Ed) Deal of St Louis, MO, grandchildren Jordan, Brandon, Logan, Kinsey, Ryan, Jacob, and Joshua, Sisters Betty Lay, Sylvia (Lonnie) Todd, Leona Shaw, Mary Lewis, Jane (Bob) Schlein, a host of nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends. Denny was born in Block, Tennessee, the youngest son and 13th child of Benjamin and Bertha. Denny was a 1968 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and retired from US Airways after 42 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Denny’s memory.
