Dona Lou Erickson

Dona Lou Erickson, 73, of Bellbrook, formerly of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, passed away Sunday July 14, 2024. She was born to Elden Walter & Esta Lou (Fannin) Bowling on December 14, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated Sandy Hook High School. Dona worked in data processing with Cassano’s Pizza and later managed the Continental Flower Shop. 

Dona is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Thomas Erickson; her daughters, Angela Allen (Mark) and Nicole Hartberger (Douglas); grandchildren, Kristen Morris (Scott), Thomas Allen, Jacob Allen, Erica Jordan (Marcus) & Spc. Alex Hardin; great grandchildren, Payton Morris, Carter Morris & Brooke Morris; her siblings, Dean Bowling (Kate), Susie Hill (Paul), Terry Bowling (Patty) & Elden Pearlmon Bowling (Brenda); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends. 

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, OH 45377. A memorial service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. The burial of Dona’s cremated remains will be held privately at Willow View Cemetery in Dayton.
