Donald “Kay” Peters

Age 95, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024, at The Hospice of Dayton. Kay was born October 28, 1928 in Bandytown, West Virginia to the late Clayton D. & Lula (Cook) Peters. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Vicki L. Zimmer-Peters, in 2020; and by a brother who was killed in the Korean War.

Kay enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach and tending to his lawn.

Kay is survived by one grandson, Aaron & his wife, Destiny Zimmer; Dianne and Doug Ballard, Jennifer and Joe Long and by two great nieces, Jennifer & Cindy.

Private arrangements are being handled by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
