Donald Stevens

Age 85, of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at his home. Don was born April 30, 1937 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late James Francis & Erna Stevens.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Georgia “Johnny” Stevens; and by one brother & sister.

Don served in the U. S. Navy and retired from Chrysler with over 30 years of service on his birthday in 1995. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan and enjoyed watching westerns.

Don is survived by his loving wife of the past 60 years, Inez B. (King) Stevens; and by one daughter, Melissa Stevens-Lane.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Don’s good friend of over 60 years, Bill Reese.

Private services will be held at a later date.
