Donna R. Adams

Age 71, of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born May 21, 1947 in Dayton to the late Raymond R. & Arlene G. (Niebert) Strobel. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Smith; aunt, Marcella Niebert; nephew, Todd Gabbard; and life-time friend, Betty Jeffers.

Donna worked at the Vandalia-Butler School System for 31 years. She was an avid Butler Football, Basketball & Baseball fan. For many years she and Sonny were involved with Robinette Baseball.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of the past 53 years, Sonny Adams; daughters, Tiffy Adams, Missy Adams; son-in-law, Brian Webb; sisters, Barbara Holliday (Gary), Karen Myers (Ron); brothers-in-law, Mike Adams, Paul Adams (Carol); life-time friend, Smilie Jeffers; nieces & nephews, Britt Gabbard (Linda), Michele Roberts (Randy), Scott Holliday (Stacy), Jason Adams (Angie), Shawn Adams, Phillip Adams, Jim Jeffers, Dave Jeffers (Jen); great nieces & nephews, Matt Roberts (Stacy), Brittney Holliday, Jake Gabbard, Ian Adams, Aiden Adams, Mason Adams, Emily Jeffers, Gabe Jeffers, Amber Jeffers & Courtney Jeffers; great great niece & nephew, Kailyx Roberts & Colton Roberts; her extended family & many good friends and co-workers; and by her beloved doxies, Gracie and Archie; grandpups, Buckey and Lucy.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday (9/27) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday (9/28) at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Donna to the American Cancer Society.
