Donna K. Gregory

Gregory, Donna K. (Rison), age 67 of Dayton, Ohio was born on September 4, 1947 and passed away peacefully on October 10, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Opalee Rison. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Philip Gregory and 1 daughter Heather Gregory. Donna is also survived by 2 sisters, Regina Osborne (Ronnie) of Bethel Township and Tammy Danielewicz (Eddie) of Bethel Township as well several Nieces & Nephews. Donna is also survived by 3 cats, Becks, Pickles and Izzie and 1 grandcat, Punkin. Donna graduated from Fairborn High School in 1965. Donna retired from Brainerd Industries where she worked for over 20 years. Although Donna was wheelchair bound for the last several years of her life due to many health issues, she never let that diminish her spirit. She always had a way of finding the silver lining of every cloud. She greeted everyone with a smile and made everyone she met a better person for having known her. The family would like to send a special heartfelt thanks to the M.I.C.U. staff at Grandview Medical Center for the exceptional care that Donna received for the 4 weeks she was there. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia on Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:30 pm with the funeral service at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Judes Children's Hospital in Donna's memory.
