Doris G. Heis
Age 94, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018 in her home in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on October 19, 1923 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Myron Good and Ada (Decker) Good Wilson. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Harrison G. Heis, her brothers, Gordon Good, Donald Good, and Kenneth Good, her sister Shirley Good, and a son, Robin Harrison Heis.

Doris is survived by sons Stephen (Elaine) Heis, Richard (June) Heis, John (Sheree) Heis, and her daughter Patricia (Escar) Armstrong; grandchildren, Crystal Heis, Brian Heis, Matthew (Amy) Heis, Teresa (Tyler) Vanover, Lori (Chris) Sumner, Angie Taylor, Chris (Rebecca) Taylor, Jillian Kerlin, Robin (Joseph) Moorhead, Morgan Armstrong and Jennifer Armstrong, and twelve great grandchildren.

Doris was an active member of Murlin Heights United Church of Christ for 53 years, serving on many church boards and committees during that time. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed greatly by her loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Polk Grove United Church of Christ, 9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414 (the corner of Frederick Pike and U.S. Route 40). Pastor Mark Moore will officiate. Everyone is invited to celebrate the life of Doris with food and fellowship in the church social hall following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley in memory of Doris.
