Doris J. McKinley

Doris J. McKinley, 80, of Northridge, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born to Murray & Mary Sayler on June 12, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio. Doris was a member of Northridge Church of the Nazarene and retired from Montgomery County Educational Service Center after over 30 years of service. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary McNabb; sister-in-law, Penny Bragg; brothers-in-law, Roy Belcher & Chuck Bragg. 

Survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Namen “Butch” McKinley; sons, Tony McKinley & Todd (Dawn) McKinley; daughter, Brenda (Chris) Michel; brother, John Sayler; sisters, Judy (Richard) Tillery & Barbara Holbrook; grandchildren, Steven Pond, Brittany (Ryan) Smith, Abbey (Josh) Michel, Kristopher (Natalia) Sisco, Katlynn (Jordan) McKinley, Kyle (Emily) McKinley; great grandchildren, Connor, Eli, Dixie, Wrenley & Maddox; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & many friends. 

Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024 at the Northridge Church of the Nazarene, 2215 Maplegrove Ave., Dayton, OH 45414 with Pastor Joseph Hollstein officiating. The burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the church.
