Doris V McCluskey

McCLUSKEY, Doris V., age 88, formerly of Butler Twp., passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1919 in Greene Co., OH, daughter of the late Gusta & Marie (Wolf) Ashbaugh. Doris enjoyed raising her family in Butler Twp. with her husband, Frank and working for many years at Elder Beerman Department Stores before retiring with Frank at Lake Lakengren in Eaton, OH. Doris was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, and she is survived by her loving family of 2 daughters, Paula Jones of Tipp City and Donna Crouse (Jim) of Delaware, OH; 4 grandchildren, Amy Ulrich (James), Alissa Hamilton (Jason), Carrie Quigley (Ryan) and Jeff Crouse; 6 great-grandchildren, Lexie, Taylor & Linsey Ulrich, Alex, Evan & Olivia Hamilton; 2 sisters, Thelma Faulkner and Phyllis Ashbaugh, both of Xenia and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 17 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Jane Maxton officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Doriss memory.
