Dorothy Mae Davis

DAVIS, Dorothy Mae, age 93 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Liberty of Beavercreek. She was born August 27, 1921 in Pottsboro, TX, daughter of the late Albert J. & Grace J. (Nichols) Souther. Dorothy was a member of the Medway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Wesley M. Davis, 2 grandsons, Michael Norris & Israel Carroll; brother, Albert E. Souther & sister, Jessie Wilkerson, Dorothy is survived by 2 daughters, Shirley Jean & husband, Rev. Dale Norris of Fairborn and Carolyn Jane Baldridge of Fairborn; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a very special niece and nephew. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 17 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Randy Washburn officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening (7/16) from 5- 7 pm.
