Dorothy E Evers

EVERS, Dorothy E. age 85 of Harrison Twp., passed away Friday June 26, 2009 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born August 14, 1923 in Dayton, daughter of the late Orville & Lula (Korns) Hild. Dorothy had been a school bus driver for the Beavercreek City Schools for many years. She was preceded in death by one son William Hansard. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 41 years Vincent; 2 sons Jerry Brandon of Dayton, and Dick (Jan) Brandon of AZ; 2 daughters Patricia (Gene) Triplett of Huber Heights, Diana (Jeff) Clay of Dayton; one daughter-in-law April Hansard of Dayton; one brother Floyd Hild of Dayton; devoted granddaughters Her Angels LeeAnna (Ed) Crabtree and Chrissy (Dustin Phillips) Farris; grandchildren Jimmy, Andy, Crystal, Nick, Athena, Georgia, Ranada, Gene, Marc, Jamie, Christopher, Brooke; numerous great-grandchildren; her precious dog Little Lady, and a wonderful friend Deanna. Funeral services will be held Monday June 29 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton in Dorothys memory.
