FOLEY, Dorothy R., age 95 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her residence. Part of the Greatest Generation, she was born November 6, 1917 in Manhattan, NY. Dorothy was a retired Librarian with the Dayton-Montgomery County Public Library. She was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church and served 40 years as a Red Cross Volunteer at the WPAFB Hospital and also over 24 years as a Red Cross Volunteer at Eglin AFB. Dorothy was also member of the WPAFB Officers Wives Club and the Gourmet Club. Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Foley and one son, Robert Foley, Dorothy is survived by her children, John A. Foley of CT, Jacqueline Cales of Huber Heights, Brian & wife, Charlotte Foley, WA and Kevin & wife, Linda Foley of Huber Heights; 6 grandchildren, Trey Foley, Gregory Cales, Danielle Morton, Kevin Foley Jr. , Brian Foley and Katherine Foley; and 2 great-grandchildren, Eden Foley & Jacob Morton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 31 at St. Peters Catholic Church Huber Heights, with Fr. Earl Simone officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice in Dorothys memory.
