Dorothy E. Rambo

Dorothy E. Rambo Age 81, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at The Hospice of Dayton. Dorothy was born August 19, 1933 in Dayton to the late John & Luella Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rosie Hahn. Dorothy enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, crafts, Nascar, U. D. Basketball and spending time with family & friends. She is survived by her husband of the past 64 years, Richard L. "Dick" Rambo; two daughters, Sharon Maier and Karen Berberich (Marty); one granddaughter, Ellen Maier; sister, Jean Milthaler (Lindy); special friends, Bonnie & Bill Shoup; and by her extended family & many good friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday (3/2) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Michael Malcosky will officiate. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
