Dottie Jean Hagan (nee: Finch)

Age 86, of Vandalia, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at The Hospice of Dayton.

Dottie was born June 25, 1930 in Dayton to the late Eugene & M. Lucille (Scott) Finch.

She was a graduate of Northridge High School, class of 1948; a long-time member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church; and she cherished being a wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother.

Dottie is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of the past 65 years, Gene Hagan; three daughters, Debra Hildreth (Larry), Brenda Wilson (Bob) & Amy Diati; five grandchildren, Amber Aslakson (Adam), Ryan Wilhelm (Ellie), Joseph Diati, Benjamin Wilson & Cara Diati; one great grandson, Aaron Aslakson; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Monday (2/13) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday (2/14) at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Pastor Michael Malcosky will officiate. Interment will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Dottie to either The Hospice of Dayton or the Vandalia UMC.
