Douglas Charles Dettwiller

Age 55, of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Doug was born April 4, 1969 in Dayton to the late Charles H. & Roseann (Spangenberg) Dettwiller.

Doug was an avid fisherman and loved hiking and anything outdoors. Some of his hobbies included hunting for arrowheads, listening to radio talk shows and UD Basketball.

Doug is survived by three children, Joseph (Vanessa) Dettwiller, Dani & Chelsea Dettwiller-Tiley; one sister, Angela Dettwiller (David Grooms); one brother, Brad Dettwiller; and by his extended family & many good friends.

A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at a later date.
