Dowana I. Brock

Dowana I. Brock Age 81, of Butler Twp., was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was born December 13, 1933 in Gatliff, Kentucky to the late Ester L. & Elsie M. (Brooks) Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Hill. Dowana was a member of the North Huber Heights Baptist Church for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband of the past 62 years, Jack W. Brock; son, Greg Brock (Melanie); daughter, Linda Roos (James); four grandchildren, Jennifer, Matt, Jason & Amanda; sister, Joyce Arnold; and by nieces and nephews & many good friends. A celebration of Dowana's life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Pastor Marvin Engle will be officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
