WILLIAMS, Earl A., age 72, of Tipp City, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2008 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1936 in Blackhawk, West Virginia, son of the late Mack C. & Dessie L. (Binion) Williams. Earl was a member of the West Charleston Church of the Brethren, a retired employee of the Chrysler Corporation with 31 years of service, a member of the Tippecanoe Lodge #174 F&AM, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, the Antioch Shrine and was a Kentucky Colonel. Earl enjoyed spending time with family, friends, fellow Shriners and especially his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brothers, Audley Lee, Nevada James & Garland Ray Williams, & 1 sister, Freada May Williams, Earl is survived by his wife of 50 years, Reta (Leisure) Williams of Tipp City; 4 daughters, Terri Keen (Theodore III) of Tipp City, Robin Bayliss (Gregory) of Troy, Mary Williams of Troy & Sue Jasulaitis (Michael) of Darien, IL; 4 grandchildren, Josh Anderson, Courtney Dixon, Bryant Dixon, & Lauren Jasulaitis; 1 brother, John Williams (Yvonne) of UT; 2 sisters, Alberta Snyder of GA, and Ernestine Swallow (Joe) of Dayton; 2 sisters-in-law, Gerda Williams of KY & Barbara Williams of Lima; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 30 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Burton Wolf officiating. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Earls memory. The family would like to offer special thanks to Lisa Cole, RN, for the kind and compassionate care she provided to Earl throughout his illness.
