Edith Boyce

Edith Boyce, age 91, of Englewood, Ohio, passed Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Edith was born to Willard and Edith Smith, April 04, 1929 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She married her lifelong love Alex Boyce, for 49 years before Alex passed. She gave birth to 3 children, Debbie, Tim, and Connie. She dedicated her life to the service of Christ, as a faithful member, for 20 years, at Vandalia Baptist Temple. She actively participated in her choir and making homemade slippers for our missionary family.

She is preceded in death by; her husband of 49 years, Alex Boyce; Parents, Willard and Edith Smith; her 2 Siblings, Wilma Wellman, and Willard Smith; her children Connie (Boyce) Sodders, and Tim Boyce. Edith is survived by 1 child: Deborah (Earnest) Steele; 1 Sibling, David Smith; her 8 grandchildren: Chuck, Joshua, Justin, Shelly, April, Jeremy, Tiffany, Caitlin, Andrew, and her 10 Great-Grandchildren: Carry, Hunter, Brooklyn, Natalia, TJ, Tristin, Sophie, Maddison, Ava and CC, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 25 at the Vandalia Baptist Temple.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening (7/24) from 5-7 pm.
