Edna Mae Adams

ADAMS, Edna Mae, age 84 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Spring Creek Nursing Center in Huber Heights after a lengthy illness. She was born December 8, 1924 in Somerset, KY, daughter of the late Lawrence & Flora Russell. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Englewood. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E., in 2003, Edna is survived by her son, Steven & wife. Dianne Adams of Dublin, OH; 2 grandchildren, Sean & Kathryn Adams; sister-in-law, Vivian Welz of Dayton; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, February 28 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Ralph Helm officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 pm until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Englewood or Hospice of Dayton in Ednas memory.
