HUDNALL, EDNA L., age 89, of Sycamore Glen Dr., Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Vandalia Park Nursing Center after a short illness. She was born July 6, 1921 in Dayton, daughter of the late Joseph & Nettie Chastain. Edna retired in 1985 from the VA Medical Center where she worked as a secretary. She had also been employed at the old Wright Air Field during WWII. She was a member of the Parkview United Methodist Church in Miamisburg. Preceded in death by her first husband, Lester E. Ridenour, second husband, Emerson D. Schell, third husband, John A. Hudnall, and 2 brothers, Robert & William Chastain, Edna is survived by 1 daughter, Nancy & husband, Daniel Haas of Vandalia; step-son & step-daughter, Jerry & Judy Schell of Phillipsburg; step-daughter, Donna & husband, Donald Brandenburg of AZ; step-daughter, Peggy & husband, Larry DePew of IN; brother, Rev. Paul & wife, Jo Chastain of Arcanum; sister-in-law, June Chastain of W. Alexandria; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, her lifelong dear friend, Mary Ann Bechtol and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 8 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., with Rev. Brad Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Parkview United Methodist Church Building Fund in Ednas memory.
