Edward E. Church

Age 55, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018, in Lexington, Kentucky. Ed was born August 17, 1962 to Johnny & Barbara (McKinnis) Church. He was preceded in death by his father.

In addition to his mother, Ed is survived by four children, Amber Carr (Jeremy), Ashley Church, Shaun Church (Amber) and Matthew Church; three brothers, William, Johnny Ray & John Henry Church; and by five grandchildren, Jayce, Blake, Elijah, Jackson & Brayden.

Ed enjoyed fishing, Hot Wheel collecting & M&M’s (peanut).

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 25, at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Ed to the American Cancer Society.
