LARSON, Elizabeth "Betty" Andrasik, age 91, passed away December 27, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Harcourt (Whitey) Larson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sondra & Jim Newton of Ludlow Falls, her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim & Linda Larson of Covington, OH and Mike & Cindy Larson of Springfield; 7 grandchildren, Carrie Marko of Belmont, OH, Lori Chiles of Vandalia, James Newton of Bethel, OH, Otto Larson of Springfield, Amy (Larson) Ryan of Springfield, Kate Shaffer and David Larson of Covington; 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Betty retired from the Vandalia Butler School system and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7700 Dog Leg Rd, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, December 31 with Pastor Kurt Lammi officiating. Burial will follow at Bear Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 5-8 pm. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt to her family. Her main passion in life was taking care of all she loved. Her favorite hobby till the end was playing Bingo! She was very proud of her Hungarian heritage and continued to impress all with her baking and cooking. Betty will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hospice of Dayton in Betty's memory.
