Ellis Dean O'Shell

O'SHELL, Ellis Dean age 85 passed away Thursday July 31, 2014 at Liberty of Washington Twp. after a lengthy illness. He was born April 16, 1929 in Verda, KY son of the late Leonard & Mary (Byrd) O'Shell. Dean was a former employee of Simons Cadillac and Lewis Auto & RV. He was a member of the Milton Club and Shamrock Club both in Dayton and was a Mason. Dean was preceded in death by his wife Willa, one daughter Barbara Sue Purdom, and one brother Leonard O'Shell Jr. He is survived by his children Diane (Tim) Feeser, Mike (Lois) O'Shell, Jerry O'Shell, Doug (Sandy) O'Shell; one brother Billy O'Shell; 5 Sisters Wilma Shoup, Shirley (J.L.) Snyder, Fontella (Jack) Coker, Joyce (Robert) Thompson, Doris (Jerry) Taylor; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Tuesday August 5 at 12:00 noon at the Milton Club 640 Kosler Dr. Dayton, OH 45402.
