Emma Louise Beverley

BEVERLEY, Emma Louise, age 84 of the Otterbein Home formerly of Berkshire Rd. in Dayton, passed away Tuesday November 10, 2009. She was born April 4, 1925 in Dayton, daughter of the late Raymond W. & Beula G. (Koch) Beverley. Emma was a graduate of the Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing graduating in the fall class of 1946 where she continued to work and teach for over 30 years. She was a member of the Vandalia United Methodist Church. Ms. Beverley is survived by 2 sisters Helen Miller of the Otterbein Home (formerly of Hyde Park) and Beula Rae & husband Jim Roamer of CA; 3 nephews John, Andrew, and Paul & wife Debbie; great-nephew Jason; great-nieces Kristen, Rachel, and Shannon. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 14 at 12:00 noon at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00am until time of services.
