Emmat F. Frauman, age 70, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017.
Born on July 24, 1946, Emmat grew up in Cincinnati and was a proud graduate of Xavier University. He went on to raise his family and build his business career in the Dayton area, working with the Kettering Foundation and later with Brown & Kroger Printing.
An avid traveler, Emmat enjoyed going on many trips through the years with his family, visiting countless cities, museums, and attractions, and cruising around the world with his wife. He also loved airplanes and flying, earning his pilot’s license in the state of Florida, attending many air shows and aircraft exhibits, and even flying once with the famed Red Baron Air Performance Team. Emmat also loved animals of all kinds, but he had a particular fondness for dogs and birds and always made sure the ducks who frequented his yard over the years were well fed. Emmat’s other interests included film, television, technology and history.
Emmat had many interests and passions, but his first love was always his family.
