Eric Farley

FARLEY, ERIC, AGE 46 of Sidney, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney. He was born January 14, 1964 in Columbus, GA, son of Murl M. & Leona Farley. Eric was employed as a polisher for the Trifecta Tool & Engineering LLC. Eric loved playing the Bass Guitar and singing with the Outrider Band; he also enjoyed bowling with the Troy Bowling League. He was preceded in death by his father, Murl M. Farley. Eric is survived by his mother Leona Shaw of Vandalia; his fiancee Nancy (Mutzner) Spence of Sidney and his girls, Betsy, Morgan, Chloe & Taylor; 1 brother, Gary Shaw of Vandalia; 1 sister, Lisa & husband Matt Johnston of Arcanum; 2 nieces, Ashley and Abigail; 2 nephews, Gary III & William and number other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Michael Althaueser officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at 3:00 PM. If so desired contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Erics memory.
