Erma Jean Hughes

HUGHES, Erma Jean, age 96, of Springfield, formerly of Butler Twp., passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Masonic Home. She was born November 10, 1914 in Springfield, OH, daughter of the late Jesse & Cora Henkle. She was a member of the St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church in Springfield and was always active in the Norris Chapter O.E.S. Preceded in death by her husband, Stanley O. Hughes and 1 son, Jerold R. Hughes, Erma is survived by her 3 grandsons, Terry W. & wife, Mandy Hughes of Kettering, Douglas R. Hughes of Butler Twp., and Timothy D. & wife, Tracy Hughes of Brookville; 6 great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Janie, Brandon, Shelby, Matthew & Mitchell and her daughter-in-law, Maribelle Ann Hughes of Butler Twp. Graveside services for family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 15 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton, OH 45414 with Pastor Gil Santiago officiating.
