Estella Nelson

Nelson, Estella, age 95, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Friday, October 5th, 2012 at the Englewood Manor Care Center. She was born June 26th, 1917 in Louisville, KY, daughter of the late Leon and Lula Harlow. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1977, granddaughter, Robynn Fyke, 2 sisters Margaret Rapp and Edla Lowe, 1 brother, Byron Harlow. Estella is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Shirley Nelson of SC; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Ann and Scott Porter of Kettering, Sharon and Tom Nighswander of Vandalia; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Morton and Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia, on Tuesday. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Estellas memory.
