Eura "Bud" A Morse

MORSE, Eura A., Bud age 83, of Harrison Twp., passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 21, 1925 in Providence, KY, son of the late Eura & Laura (Lowry) Morse. Eura was retired from Delco Products and was a WW II U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Navy Seabees. Preceded in death by 8 brothers & sisters, Eura is survived by his 4 daughters, Virginia & husband, James Pierson of Vandalia, Judy Lackey of Northridge, Vonda Morse of Harrison Twp. and Vicky & husband, Chris Kurinec of NE; 2 step-children, Letta Stuthard of AZ and John Grove of Vandalia; 3 grandchildren, Bill Lackey & wife, Aimee, Amanda & Rebecca Kurinec; 4 great-grandchildren, Colin, Ian, Alex & Ellen; 2 sisters, Vera Cavissere & Mable Winstead and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 19 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Ronald Hajarian officiating. Burial to follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm.
