Feruccio Bier

BIER, Feruccio age 74, of Butler Twp., passed away unexpectedly at the James Cancer Center in Columbus, OH after a brief illness. He was born June 3, 1934 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Domenic & Emilla Bier. Feruccio was the Owner & Operator of Artistic Tile & Terrazzo, and was a US Army Veteran. Preceded in death by 1 infant sister, Bianca, Feruccio is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Meyer); 5 children, Angela Giere (Tom), Regina Bier, Christina Duke (John), Domenic Bier (Petra) and Rodrick Schubert (Lisa); 7 grandchildren, Emily & Domenic Giere, Elena & Sophia Duke, & Anthony, Anna and Michael Schubert; 2 sisters, Bruna Jones & Rita Vayna; his very close friend, John Francescon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 7 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 22 Notre Dame Ave., Dayton with Fr. Michael Holloran officiating. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Friday evening from 5-8 pm.
