Florence I McCallister

McCALLISTER, Florence I. age 94, formerly of Mercy Sienna Woods, passed away Tuesday November 17, 2009 at the Mount Washington Care Center in Cincinnati.. Florence was born March 15, 1915 in New Lebanon, daughter of the late Charles & Tilley (Kreitzer) Cooper. She was a retired employee of Rikes Department Store. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Rubert, her son Jerry McCallister, and a brother Clifford Cooper. She is survived by one daughter Joyce (Dick) Gottschall of Cincinnati; one sister Evelyn Doty of Indianapolis, 4 grandchildren Steven Gottschall, Kathy (Greg) Borgwald, Mike McCallister, and Maureen (Randy) Hatmaker; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 21 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Bob Vogelmann officiating. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10am until time of service.
