Florence C. Thurman

THURMAN, Florence C. age 72 of Vandalia passed away Sunday August 8, 2010 at her residence following an illness. She was born June 7, 1938 in New York daughter of the late John & Florence (Glockstein) Tibbatts. Florence was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 2005. She is survived by one daughter Sharon & husband Jeff Stauffer of Beavercreek; one son Lawrence C. Butch & wife Suzen Thurman of Marysville; one sister Carol Tibbatts of Vandalia; 2 grandchildren Cody and Allyson; and cousin Bobby & wife Gerri Toomey. It was Florences wish that her body be cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held Thursday August 12 at 10:00am at St Christopher Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. There will be no visitation. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Florences memory. Arrangements in care of Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
