KOHL, Frank N., age 95 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1913 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Nicholas & Beth Kohl. Frank was a machinist with Harris-Seybold for over 40 years, was a fireman with Butler & Randolph Township Fire Departments for over 40 years, was a member of the Civil Air Patrol in World War II and was a graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School. Preceded by wife, Estella P. Kohl in 1996, Frank is survived by his 2 sons, John & wife, Jo Kohl of West Alexandria and Gary & wife, Elaina Kohl of Bellbrook; 4 grandchildren, Sherrie & husband, Mike Thomas, Bill & wife, Amy Kohl, Nick & wife, Becky Kohl and Ken Kohl; 8 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Austin, Zach, Marissa, Kyler, Devyn, Hunter & Kyle and numerous other relatives and friends. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 14, at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., with Pastor Dan Mullins officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 in Franks memory. Arrangements by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
