WALKER, Frank J., age 74, of Tipp City, (formerly of Belmont, OH) passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Troy Care & Rehab Center. He was born to parents, John & Caroline on October 12, 1938. He retired from Delco Moraine in 1993 with 23 years of service. Frank enjoyed bluegrass music, playing his guitar and woodcarving as a hobby. He also spent many years as a Free Mason. He lived in Belmont County over the last 10 years, was a member of the Centerville Senior Center and living with his companion, Grace Rosen. Preceded in death by his wife, Pat of 42 years, in 1999, one brother, Jim, and his sister, Betty, Frank is survived by 2 brothers, John & George; 4 children, Rick of Vandalia, Renee & husband, Jeff of Tipp City, Russ & wife, Denice of Laura, and Scott of Martins Ferry; grandchildren, Justin, Ryan, Josh (Jamie), Chelsea, Chad, Brad, & Derek, and 1 great-grandchild, Mariah. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 22, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Josh Cougle officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311 in Franks memory.
